Verallia Manufactured 3 Clear Choice Award Winners For Innovative Glass Packaging

Verallia North America proudly announced the company was recognized for manufacturing three award-winning glass containers at the 22nd Clear Choice Awards. Held annually by the Glass Packaging Institute, the Clear Choice Awards recognize innovative glass packaging in the food, beverage, and cosmetic categories. Over the past 22 years, 66 containers manufactured by Verallia have received the industry’s top honor.

This year, Trader’s Point Creamery’s Cottage Cheese won Conversion Recognition for moving its award-winning cottage cheese from plastic to glass containers; Jackson Family Wines’ Freemark Abbey 125th Anniversary blend won the wine category; and Boulevard Brewing Company’s Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale won the beer category. Submissions for the 2011 Clear Choice Awards were judged on innovation, package design and shelf impact. In addition to the three Clear Choice Awards, another Verallia customer, Constellation Brands, was awarded Best Friends of Glass from the Glass Packaging Institute.
