Three Verallia Plants Honored with ENERGY STAR® Award

MUNCIE, Ind. – Verallia North America, a leading producer of glass containers in the United States, has had three of its manufacturing plants honored as the first and only in the industry to earn the 2010 ENERGY STAR® from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for superior energy performance. 

The three plants, located in Dunkirk, Ind.; Milford, Mass.; and Port Allegany, Penn., have demonstrated best in class energy performance and, on average, use nearly 25 percent less energy when compared to similar plants across the country.
