The second Ukrainian edition of the Verallia Design Awards gathered 56 participants around the theme of “Creating the difference”. Once again, the contest was partnered by Nemiroff – Verallia’s vodka-producing customer.
Two projects picked up awards:
In the “Alcoholic beverages” category: Autrement by Anna Homeniuk, from Lviv Polytechnic National University. This slender bottle with inner facets and a thick base adds a certain elegance to flavored spirits.
Since 2009, different Verallia subsidiaries have organized an annual design competition. In 2018, the Verallia Design Awards are organized in six countries: Ukraine, Spain, Germany, France, Italyand Portugal. Students and young art or design school graduates imagine, from a defined theme, an innovative type of glass packaging. The entrants receive support from Verallia’s teams to familiarize themselves with the glass material and its demanding industrial requirements.
