The second Ukrainian edition of the Verallia Design Awards gathered 56 participants around the theme of “Creating the difference”. Once again, the contest was partnered by Nemiroff  – Verallia’s vodka-producing customer. 

Two projects picked up awards:

  • In the “Alcoholic beverages” categoryAutrement by Anna Homeniuk, from Lviv Polytechnic National University.  This slender bottle with inner facets and a thick base adds a certain elegance to flavored spirits.  

Since 2009, different Verallia subsidiaries have organized an annual design competition. In 2018, the Verallia Design Awards are organized in six countriesUkraineSpain, Germany, FranceItalyand PortugalStudents and young art or design school graduates imagine, from a defined theme, an innovative type of glass packaging. The entrants receive support from Verallia’s teams to familiarize themselves with the glass material and its demanding industrial requirements.
